Privacy policy

In short

Vagus does not collect, send or sell any of your data. Everything the app reads and writes stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch, inside Apple's Health app.

What the app reads from Health

• Heart rate, resting heart rate and walking heart rate average, to show your live heart rate and your day.
• The workouts Vagus itself recorded, to build the dashboard for each session.
• Heartbeat series and heart rate variability (SDNN), when they exist during a session, to compute heart rate variability (HRV).

Reading only happens with your permission, given on the system screen, and can be turned off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Vagus.

What the app writes to Health

Each session becomes a Mind and Body workout, with the phase markers (breathing, breath hold, recovery) you tapped on the watch.

What the app does not do

• No account, sign-up or server: nothing leaves the device.
• No ads, analytics or third-party tracking.
• No health data stored in iCloud beyond what Apple's own Health app syncs.
• Your health data is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.

Children

Vagus is not intended for children.

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it and the new version stays on this page.
